geohot’s next jailbreak tool will most likely be called limera1n. He’s been showing proof of blackra1n working on iPhone OS 4.0, as well as a jailbroken iPad. Well, limera1n.com has now popped up with nothing on it but a limey version of the blackra1n icon.

Looks like geohot picked up limera1n.com March 27th, according to the whois. Checking the whois shows the registrant info to be the same for both blackra1n.com and limera1n.com, albeit with a different phone number.

It would seem that Gizmodo.com have recieved an Apple invite “for a sneak peek of the next generation of iPhone OS software” on April 8 at 10AM Pacific. This date is not that far away at all, infact is only a few days away, so my money is on the release of 4.0! Well I’m hopefull that it will be, but none of us can be 100% sure as of yet!

Although there is alot of talk that all this is just hype and that the 4.0 software update won’t be available until the release of the new iPhone in the summer. It doesnt mean we can’t all but hope!
